Customer Service Representative – Entry Level

GEM is hiring an Entry-Level Customer Service Representative to support customer engagement and community outreach activities. This is an in-person position for individuals interested in developing professional experience in customer service, communication, community outreach, and event support.

Recent graduates and candidates with limited professional experience are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in marketing or customer service is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with customers and members of the community
• Provide information and assistance regarding client programs and services
• Answer questions and communicate information clearly and accurately
• Support customer engagement and community outreach activities
• Assist with event and promotional activities
• Maintain professional communication with customers, team members, and clients
• Follow established procedures and campaign guidelines
• Work with team members to complete daily responsibilities
• Participate in training and team meetings
• Maintain a professional and organized work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and community members
• Willingness to learn and receive training
• Previous customer service experience is helpful but not required

Training and Development

GEM provides training for employees who are new to the role. Training focuses on customer communication, client and community engagement, teamwork, and the responsibilities associated with supporting outreach and event activities.

This position can provide recent graduates and other entry-level candidates with an opportunity to develop transferable professional skills through hands-on work experience.
