Good Hands Veterinary Hospital is a busy three-doctor practice in Athens, GA, committed to providing exceptional patient care and a positive experience for every client. Our Customer Service Representatives are an essential part of that mission, helping pet owners feel welcomed, informed, and supported from their first phone call through checkout.
We’re looking for a professional, compassionate, and dependable team member with previous animal or veterinary experience who can deliver outstanding customer service while keeping the front desk organized and running smoothly in a fast-paced hospital environment.

What You’ll Do
- Provide professional, compassionate service to clients and their pets
- Answer incoming calls and respond to client questions and inquiries
- Schedule and manage veterinary appointments accurately and efficiently
- Welcome clients and patients and provide a positive front-desk experience
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information
- Process payments and assist with client accounts
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other team members
- Help coordinate communication between the front desk and medical team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Assist with daily front-office operations and administrative duties as needed
- Protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and compassion even during busy or challenging situations
What You’ll Bring
- Previous animal-care or veterinary experience is required
- Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, courteous, and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective in a busy veterinary environment
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to your team
- Comfort working around dogs, cats, and other companion animals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and veterinary professionals
