Job Description
The Technical Content Researcher is responsible for creating technical content for the development team to meet client standards, carry out reviews , ensuring compliance with the agreements established with the client.
Assess designated businesses current processes, activities and cultures to prioritize areas for improvement
Design and develop a structured technical training to deliver real and sustainable improvements in processes, communication and teamwork to deliver improved customer satisfaction and right first-time repairs.
Work with SME’ to find technical content that fits the development of training modules.
Design a range of training modules.
Ensure standards are met for training material, student guides, and literature, are properly created
Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather up-to-date information on products, technologies, and industry trends
Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, videos, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises
Stay up to date with advancements in technology to continuously improve training content and delivery
Collaborate with team members to identify training needs, develop training content documents, and create effectiveness of training programs
Attend factory or brand-led events as a representative of the Client and MSX International ranging from Train the Trainer events to Product Launches
Attend technical meetings with the client
Report results to the Project Manager and to the client on the status of the project.
Deliver improvements in several Key Performance Indicators
Build a close working relationship with technical content and design team.
Qualifications
Industry recognised technical accreditation (desirable)
Technical training and development experience (desirable)
Experience:
Experience in technical training content
Previous experience of collaborative relationships
Previous experience of client relationships
Experience of utilising technology in the delivery of training such as webinars, social media (desirable)
Experience of working in a learning & development department
Knowledge:
An understanding of assessment tools and their links to learning & development
Strong understanding of various training methods, including classroom training, on-the-job training, e-learning, and hands-on practical sessions.
An understanding of blended learning and its application
An understanding of Learning & Development
A strong understanding of Automotive engineering
A strong technical background
Technical Skills:
Curriculum Development: Skill in designing and structuring training programs and curricula.
Automotive engineering deep understanding
Technical Troubleshooting: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues that may arise and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Training Needs Analysis:Ability to assess the learning needs of the target audience and tailor training accordingly.
Technical Writing: Skill in creating clear and concise technical documentation and guides.
Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with LMS and online training platforms.
Assessment and Evaluation: Skill in designing assessments and evaluating learner performance.
Training Design: Ability to design effective training programs and materials.
