The Maintenance Technician executes maintenance and improvements for buildings, grounds, and property management across various ODC Network facilities. This includes managing work orders, leading volunteer groups, and performing physically demanding indoor and outdoor labor.
A high school diploma and experience in buildings, grounds, and equipment maintenance are required, with three years of experience preferred. Candidates must pass a background check, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
The ODC Network is a nonprofit organization focused on outdoor education and conservation throughout West Michigan. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the mission of the ODC Network through the execution of maintenance and improvements for buildings, grounds, and property management at our various facilities and properties. They will work closely with the Facilities Manager, VP of Operations, and other members of the Management and Operations Team on the planning and execution of projects related to facilities.
This position will work approximately 20 hours per week at Gentex Discovery Preschool and approximately 20 hours across other ODC sites and facilities.

The ODC Network is an outdoor education and conservation organization focused on connecting people, land, and nature. Since 2000, the ODC has served more than 500,000 children and adults through outdoor education and recreation programs. More than 75,000 people annually visit ODC Network sites to walk the trails and view the wildlife. With its partners, the organization helps protects over 1,200 acres along the Macatawa River and the Outdoor Discovery Center - a 155 acre nature preserve in Holland, MI. The ODC Nature Preserve is free and open to the public dawn to dusk every day of the year.
