The Division

Job Summary
The Broadcasting Operations team is responsible for live coverage of horse racing in Hong Kong, production of related promotional video, formatting betting and racing-related information into TV graphic displays and documentaries for on-air at TV stations as well as display on the giant display screens and closed-circuit TV network at the racecourses. The Chinese Racing Program Production Team in Broadcasting Operations is responsible for producing and packaging racing television programs, both for local broadcasting by terrestrial free-to-air television, pay cable television, overseas simulcasting operations of which betting on Hong Kong’s horse racing is operated.
The job holder reports Manager, Broadcast Operations (Broadcast and Technical Operations) and is responsible for the technical support for AV equipment.
The Job
Provides technical support for TV production equipment being operated in the Club, including setting up studio cameras, performing CCU / virtual system operations and digital video server system to ensure the quality of the programs meets broadcasting standard.
Sets up micro-wave link for live camera coverage of various locations in racecourses on race days and Outside Broadcasting System to support various Club's internal and external functions.
Provides regular maintenance of broadcasting TV production equipment.
Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager
About You
High Certificate / Diploma in Electronic / TV Engineering
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the area of technical support of TV production
Working experience in TV station and Outside Broadcasting of sports event a distinct advantage
Technical knowledge in digital video equipment such as video camera, nonlinear editing system and video server
Hands-on skills in PC software such as AutoCAD
Basic network knowledge, such as TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN architecture and routing
