The Application Architect is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting internally developed engineering tools and integrations. Key duties include specifying new functionalities with stakeholders, managing user stories, and coordinating bug fixes and testing activities.
Candidates should have a degree in IT, Software Engineering, or a related field and experience in application architecture or senior software engineering. Proficiency in Oracle databases, Azure cloud, and Agile/DevOps practices is required, along with fluency in Finnish and English.

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Architect to work together with AFRY Finland Industry division Engineering Tools team and to further develop, maintain and support AFRY’s internally developed engineering tools and integrations. To ensure continuity and further development of AFRY’s engineering tool platform, your key responsibilities will include:
Work location can be any of the AFRY Finland offices, however Vantaa, Tampere, Kouvola, Oulu, Turku and Kuopio are preferred and hybrid options are available.
