What you'll be doing

As our new Senior Innovation Manager, you will:

• Identify emerging technologies, industry trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
• Develop business cases, innovation concepts, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead innovation initiatives from exploration through validation and implementation.
• Collaborate across functions and divisions to design and deliver new solutions.
• Build relationships with customers, startups, technology providers, and other innovation partners.

You will play a key role in translating opportunities into tangible business outcomes. This includes presenting recommendations and progress to senior stakeholders, supporting the transition of successful concepts into scalable global capabilities, and challenging existing ways of working to improve customer experience, operational performance, and business competitiveness.

Areas of focus

Examples of projects may include:

• Artificial Intelligence and intelligent automation
• Advanced analytics and decision intelligence
• Digital platforms and connected supply chain solutions
• Automation and autonomous operations
• Emerging technologies that create operational and customer value

Your portfolio will vary depending on business priorities and future opportunities, giving you exposure to a broad range of strategic and operational challenges across DSV's global organization.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded innovation professional who can identify new opportunities and turn them into tangible business outcomes. To succeed in this role, you bring:

• 5+ years of experience within innovation, consulting, strategy, product management, transformation, or a similar field.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives from concept development through validation and measurable business impact.
• Strong understanding of how emerging technologies can be translated into practical business solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across functions, cultures, and organizational levels.
• Professional proficiency in English and willingness to undertake frequent international travel.

You may have gained experience within logistics, transport, supply chain management, technology, or a related industry, and understand the opportunities and challenges of operating in complex business environments. A relevant university degree within business, engineering, logistics, technology, or a related field is considered an advantage.

You are experienced in developing business cases, innovation concepts, roadmaps, and recommendations for senior stakeholders. Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern product development approaches will help you navigate initiatives from exploration to implementation.  

As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and commercially driven. You thrive in evolving environments, are comfortable working independently, and have a natural ability to bring diverse stakeholders together around a shared objective.
