Job Description

He angituutanga: The opportunity 

Our lifeguards ensure everyone visiting Hamilton Pools is safe in the water and having a great time, they provide education around risk prevention along with a bit of cleaning, EASY.

We welcome individuals from all walks of life. If you are a confident swimmer and enjoy working with people, we will provide the necessary training! 

If you are ready to make a difference in your community and have what it takes to be a lifeguard, join our team at Hamilton Pools. We are a diverse, fun, and motivated group of individuals! 

Qualifications

No experience or qualifications as a lifeguard? Don’t let that stop you! We have opportunities for self-starters with the right mindset to gain a fully paid for Practicing Lifeguard Certification.

Qualifications you will obtain: 

  • First Aid Level 2 Certificate 

  • Pool Life Saving Practicing Certificate (PLPC)

The hourly rate for this role is $28.95.
