Our team develops the in-vehicle map platform, including smart cloud map downloads, caching, map management, efficient APIs for map consumers, and protocols for distributing map data across vehicle ECUs. We also develop map-based algorithms such as route calculation and lane network generation, which are key components of autonomous driving systems. This is a highly technical role involving embedded software, large-scale map data, performance optimization, and collaboration across multiple engineering teams.
