Position Summary:
The Clinical Director provides strategic and operational leadership for all clinical services within our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This key leadership role is responsible for advancing excellence in resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing clinical budgets and resource management, and developing policies that support best practices and quality outcomes. The Clinical Director will mentor and inspire a dedicated nursing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare leader with a demonstrated record of clinical success, strong operational expertise, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults through exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise nursing staff and caregivers, ensuring exceptional resident care.
- Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the administrator and leadership team to set and achieve organizational goals.
- Monitor quality indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently.
- Serve as a leader during state surveys and ensure positive outcomes.
- Promote effective communication among staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current Wisconsin Registered Nursing license (unrestricted).
- Certifications: CPR required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical management role.
- Strong knowledge of nursing and administrative principles.
- Proven leadership skills in coaching, development, budgeting, and change management.
