The Safety Trainer provides subject matter expertise on risk and implements HSEQT plans to promote a strong safety culture. Key duties include leading incident investigations, managing corrective actions, and ensuring workforce competency through training compliance.
Candidates must have demonstrated HSEQT experience in underground mining and hold Level 4 certificates in Workplace Health and Safety Practice and Assessment Practice. ICAM Lead Investigation training and a valid Class 1 driver's licence are also required.

About the Role
We are looking for experienced Safety Trainers to join our New Zealand business. Based in Christchurch, you will partner closely with operational leaders at a local project, providing Subject Matter Expert guidance on risk, effectively implement HSEQT plans, facilitate compliance requirements, lead incident investigations, and drive accountability for the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
