Based at our Tilburg site, supporting a leading Fashion & Retail customer, you will play a key role in managing daily warehouse operations, developing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring performance targets and customer expectations are successfully achieved.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead the Inbound & Returns operation, ensuring daily operational targets, customer expectations and agreed service levels are consistently achieved.
• Monitor operational performance, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Team Leaders, focusing on performance management, succession planning and leadership development.
• Optimize workforce planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and meet changing business demands.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality and accountability while collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver operational excellence and support strategic site initiatives.

 

What you'll bring to GXO

• Proven experience in a similar operational leadership role within a complex warehouse or logistics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams of approximately 100–150 employees.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills considered an advantage.
• Strong IT proficiency, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
