The Quality Engineer will resolve supplier manufacturing issues and implement advanced quality planning systems throughout the vehicle program life cycle. Key duties include managing supplier non-conformances, conducting root cause analysis, and monitoring performance via scorecards.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least three years of experience in quality or manufacturing. Candidates must be proficient in GD&T, statistical quality control, and fluent in English.
The Overview for Quality Engineer:
o Supplier Quality Management
o Geometric design and tolerance (GD&T).
o Manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, tooling, equipment, and facilities.
o Statistical quality control with experience applying basic statistics using Mini-tab
o Investigating quality problems and to apply sound technical judgment to develop potential solutions.
o Lean Manufacturing and or Manufacturing Quality.
o Manufacturing, Process and or Tool Engineering.
o Quality Systems Planning (APQP), including PPAP.
o Statistical Problem Solving (8-D, SixSigma DMAIC Tool-set).
o Master’s degree in Business or Engineering is a plus
