Sales –
1. To handle Middle East territories, basically Iraq,
Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Afghanistan, and adjoining. To focus more
on
Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Egypt.
2. To understand the aforesaid sales territories
and scope of work in detail.
3. To agree on the sales target to be achieved with
the reporting manager.
4. To plan for the target achievement, which
includes the number of inquiries, the value of inquiries, travel plans, sales
budget, etc., in
coordination with the reporting manager.
5. To follow the plans to achieve targets.
6. To make travel plans for customer visits after
approval of the reporting manager.
7. To involve the reporting manager for important
project inquiry discussions to make an impact and assure a sales order.
8. To follow up with customers for orders against
inquiries and inquiries against probable leads.
9. To coordinate with customers to get all
technical data to ensure that the FEED team can prepare the offers as per the
requirements of the
customer.
10. To get the estimate from the FEED team and
prepare offers in coordination with the in-house sales team with due approval
from the
reporting manager for customer submission.
11. To engage the customer in technical discussions
on the offer to ensure that the scope is clear to avoid misunderstandings in
the future.
12. To be responsible for negotiation with the
customer for offers submitted and take it to the endpoint of order and payment
terms finalisation.
13. To ensure that the advance and other payments
are received from the customers as per the terms and conditions of the
contract.
14. To keep in touch with the customer after order
placement for follow-up and review of services from Lotus at various steps and
give
feedback to the reporting manager on the same for further escalation.
15. To ensure that the customer is satisfied in the
process of inquiry generation to execution, we get a very good customer
satisfaction rating.
16. To achieve sales and inquiry targets as per the
plan.
17. To suggest to the reporting manager possible
changes of strategy and plans to achieve the goals and targets.
Requirements
Skills and Competencies:
1. Proven
ability to generate new leads and business contacts based on prior sales experience.
2. Fluent
communication skills in English and Hindi, with strong spoken and written
communication skills.
3. Self-starter
with a strong motivation to achieve sales targets and drive business outcomes.
4. Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience
in the pharmaceutical engineering industry, supported by a proven track record.
5. Willingness to travel extensively to meet
international clients across assigned territories.
6. Strong relationship-building skills and the
ability to maintain long-term client engagement.
7. Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word, or equivalent software
tools.
8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and
coordination skills for effective internal and external interactions.
Knowledge:
1. Comprehensive understanding of the
pharmaceutical industry, dosage forms, and formulation plant setup.
2. Familiarity with HVAC systems, clean room
construction, clean room flooring, piping, utilities, production equipment, and
electrical systems.
3. Experience in the sale of high-value equipment
or systems, typically exceeding ₹1 crore in project value.
Preferred Knowledge:
Established
contacts in the pharmaceutical industry in the Middle East; additional contacts
in engineering and projects domains will be considered an advantage.
