Develop and manage food service accounts across various channels to increase sales volume and revenue. Establish strong partnerships with trade partners while ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable.
Requires a college degree in HRIM, Food Technology, or a business-related course with at least 3 years of B2B food service industry experience. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and preferably own a vehicle with a valid driver's license.
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing, growing, and managing the Food Service accounts of J&F Foods. He/She ensures to position J&F Foods as a relevant and strong player in the Food Service Industry, including but not limited to these channels – QSRs, HoReCa, Commissaries, Convenience stores and other non-traditional Modern Trade accounts. Close collaboration and partnership with the FS accounts must be established to offer high margin J&F products, at the same time attaining a High Impact on Customers’ Success with trade partners.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
4. Development and expansion of Food service accounts
5. Develop high margin push skus to saturate the Food Service accounts.
6. Grow the sales volume and revenue in the Food Service channel.
7. Ensure complete monitoring of inventories and timely collection of ARs.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Develops and conducts sales proposals for Food service accounts.
2. In-charge of product presentation of FS skus fit for the accounts.
3. To develop and sustain good relationships, build rapport, and grow the engagement of J&F Foods in the Food service industry.
4. Conducts market research on the applicable products that will fit the market or requirement of the account.
5. Ensures timely, accurate and complete AR collections from all accounts of FS. Target AR is at 95% current and above.
6. Manages the product portfolio, product mix and budget assigned for the route.
College Graduate of HRIM, Food Technology or Business-related course with significant experience in the Food Service industry.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Food Service industry, with B2B experience handling food products. Strong food service experience is an advantage.
