The role involves controlling effluent equipment and monitoring processes to remove harmful materials from wastewater. Responsibilities include maintaining pumps and motors, running water quality tests, and documenting compliance.
The candidate must be able to operate computerized monitoring systems and read meters and gauges to ensure plant equipment functions properly. Ability to plan emergency reaction protocols and maintain accurate records is required.
