About the role | Mō te tūranga

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our NZ DTA (Deposit Takers Act) delivery team. This role will support the delivery of regulatory and business change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation and under the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst.

You will play a key role in discovery, requirements analysis, process modelling, and supporting solution delivery to ensure outcomes align with regulatory standards and business needs.

  • Assist with discovery activities, including regulatory interpretation, business needs analysis, and systems analysis
  • Translate NZ DTA standards into clear, documented business requirements (e.g. user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Document current-state processes and support the design of future-state processes using approved tools
  • Participate in workshops and working sessions, including preparation of materials and documentation of outcomes
  • Support review and socialisation of business requirements and solution designs with stakeholders
  • Maintain requirements, decisions, and traceability artefacts
  • Assist with quality assurance activities, including UAT scenario and test case preparation and execution support
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions
  • Report progress on assigned deliverables to the Senior Business Analyst or Project Manager
  • Contribute as a delivery team member to achieving project milestones and objectives

About you | Ō pūkenga
