Orthodontic Assistant – Charlotte, NC
We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our busy and growing team. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists chairside with bonding, banding, wire adjustments, and other procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take dental X-rays and intraoral photographs
- Fabricate Essix retainers and pour dental models
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment charts
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
- Support efficient patient flow and provide a positive patient experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience
- Current NC radiology certification
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care
