Experienced Automotive Service Dispatcher

Do you want to work at one of the busiest automotive dealerships in the region where your employer treats you like a member of the family? Friendly Chevrolet, the #1 Volume Family-Owned Chevy dealership, has an immediate opening for an experienced Automotive Service Dispatcher.
What You’ll Do
- Dispatch work to technicians and assist in various ways to ensure efficient maximum workflow of the service department.
- Review appointment load needed with Service Advisors.
- Flag hours on completed repair orders.
- Review parts and authorization holds on daily with Parts Personnel & Advisors.
- Review technician cause and corrections on repair orders.
- Assign Service Technicians to work orders based on technician skill set and geographic proximity to improve efficiency.
- Relay accurate information to technicians.
- Manager the whereabouts and administrative needs of technicians in the field.
- Document progress of each work order, manage work in process and bill work orders based on customer and job specifications.
- Communicate service-related issues with Customer Service Representative and Management.
- Maintain professionalism and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Must have previous automotive dispatcher experience.
- Must be proficient with automotive dispatching software.
- Must be accustomed to a fast-paced high-volume work environment.
