About this role

Summary

The 10-week paid summer internship at Blum Construction Company provides hands-on experience in commercial construction, including field work, supervision, management, preconstruction, and Virtual Design and Construction. Interns apply classroom knowledge, develop problem-solving and communication skills, and participate in training, team building, and networking opportunities. Positions are available across Asheville, the Triad, and the Triangle, with competitive hourly pay plus a monthly housing/gas stipend.

What to Expect

  • Duration: 10-week summer internship
  • Orientation: Kick off at the Blum Headquarters in Winston-Salem
  • Networking & Social Events: Connect with Blum employees and fellow interns through regional family and intern socials throughout the summer
  • Professional Development: Participate in an intern seminar focused on The Life Cycle of a Blum Project in the Triad
  • Capstone Experience: Wrap up the internship with a capstone presentation and celebration dinner at the Blum Headquarters

Physical Demands
