About this role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Litigation Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join Fox Rothschild's New York office supporting partner Brett Berman's practice. This is an opportunity for a hands-on litigator who has real courtroom experience and thrives working directly with partners and clients in a collaborative, lean-team environment.
What will you be doing?
Managing all aspects of general commercial litigation matters with significant autonomy
Taking and defending depositions, including expert depositions
Drafting and arguing motions in New York State and federal courts
Conducting witness prep and first-chairing proceedings
Working directly with multiple partners and clients across matters
Key Requirements
5-7 years of general commercial litigation experience with true hands-on courtroom exposure (depositions, motion practice, witness prep)
Juris Doctorate (JD) and licensed to practice in New York
Experience in New York State and federal courts
Strong research, writing skills, and academic record
Ability to take ownership of matters and hit the ground running — not a "wallflower" role
