About this role
We are looking for a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join Fox Rothschild's Los Angeles office and support a team of four partners across employment litigation matters. You'll be getting your hands dirty from day one — this is a firm where associates work directly with partners and clients, not as one of ten people on a case.
What will you be doing?
Defending single plaintiff employment litigation (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, reasonable accommodation)
Handling PAGA matters and class actions
Conducting and defending depositions, including plaintiff and corporate witness depositions
Drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions
Working directly with multiple partners (Stephen Gallagher, Nancy Yaffe, Daniel Kit Cease, Jeffrey Horton Thomas) across their practices
Key Requirements
3-5 years of California labor & employment litigation experience
JD required and licensed to practice in California
Hands-on deposition, motion practice, and courtroom experience (not just big-firm paper review)
Ability to manage day-to-day case responsibilities with moderate independence
Strong research, writing skills, and academic record
