  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a dedicated Learning & Development role, preferably within a Technology organisation
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering core L&D programmes for hybrid and globally distributed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate and manage external vendors for targeted, skill-specific training
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with high attention to detail

  • Assess L&D needs and recommend external training partners to deliver targeted, skill-specific learning content that builds internal capability
  • Own end-to-end logistics for all L&D initiatives, including scheduling, communications, venues and seamless coordination with external partners, ensuring seamless programme delivery
  • Proactively curate and recommend high-quality internal and external learning resources (e.g. articles, podcasts, online courses and books) mapped to our People Skills Framework to empower self-directed development
  • Manage the L&D budget with the People Director, prioritising critical needs and identifying cost-effective, high-impact solutions within allocated budgets
  • Maintain and continuously improve L&D content and resources, including Confluence pages – ensuring documentation is current, accessible and engaging
  • Design and deliver internal L&D programmes where appropriate to address specific organisational needs

Talent Development
  • Partner with the People Director and People Partners to identify learning needs across the business and translate insights into actionable L&D priorities
  • In partnership with the People Director, assess future skill requirements aligned to Foundry’s 2030 Vision, map gaps against current role capabilities, and design targeted reskilling and upskilling programmes with external partners
  • Work with the People team to ensure all employees have effective development plans, supported by relevant L&D resources and programmes
  • Maintain and evolve our Career and People Skills Frameworks, ensuring L&D initiatives are aligned to career progression pathways and support internal mobility
  • Collaborate with managers to increase the use of Annual Personal Development Time, encouraging employee ownership of personal development

  • Define and implement clear metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programmes
  • Gather, analyse and apply participant feedback to continuously improve L&D initiatives and ensure alignment with evolving business needs
  • Prepare and present quarterly L&D reports with actionable insights and recommendations for the People Director and Chief People Officer
