Solution Architect (Security) - Tokyo/Osaka/Nagoya

As a Solution Architect, you will:

• Be a part of the Security Solution Development team and become the Center of Excellence for Security Platform technologies areas and associated Fortinet products/solutions. 
• This role requires a versatile technology professional who can engage with CXOs, IT leadership, security teams, architects, and operations teams while also being capable of hands-on demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), troubleshooting, and solution implementation.
• The Solution Architect will work closely with account teams, business development teams, Consulting SE teams, Partners, and Customer stakeholders to position Fortinet's cybersecurity and networking solutions as strategic enablers of digital transformation initiatives across various sectors, including enterprises and commercial sectors, telco/service providers, and governments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Design Authority
   •    Act as the primary technical advisor for assigned target sector accounts
   •    Design end-to-end secure architectures aligned with customer business and security requirements
   •    Lead technical discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and architecture reviews
   •    Develop solution blueprints, reference architectures, and technical recommendations
2. Customer Engagement
   •    Present complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
   •    Build trusted advisor relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, and infrastructure teams
   •    Support RFPs, RFIs, tenders, technical compliance documentation, and bid responses
3. Hands-On Technical Execution
   •    Lead and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Proof of Value (PoVs), and technical evaluations
   •    Perform solution deployment, integration, migration, and troubleshooting activities when required
   •    Conduct technical demonstrations, workshops, and customer training sessions
   •    Support escalated technical issues and collaborate with internal engineering and support teams
4. Evangelist
   •    Publish public information, such as whitepapers and blogs around salient technology topics
   •    Draft architecture papers for in-depth analysis and reasoning for technology adoption
   •    Continuous active networking within the industry to build relationships and awareness

  o    SIEM and SOAR
  o    Endpoint Security
  o    Threat Intelligence
  o    Cloud Security
  o    Data Center Security
  o    Identity and Access Management
  o    Application Security
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  o    Work closely with account teams(xAMs Presales SEs), channel partners, system integrators, and consulting organizations.
  o    Support strategic account planning and technology roadmaps.
  o    Provide technical mentorship to partners and internal teams.
  o    Contribute to solution strategy for large and complex projects.
