Overview

Looking for highly motivated Licensed Estheticians for growing skincare retail/dermatology aesthetic service provider position. This position would combine the best of both worlds,retail sales focused within skinfo Specialty Skincare Boutique and hands on aesthetic services Advanced Dermatology.

skinfo ® and Advanced Dermatology are known as a nationally recognized leaders in advanced medical and cosmetic skincare and service offerings. Both businesses were founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Amy Forman Taub, MD, FAAD. We have locations in Lincolnshire and Glencoe and this position would require candidate to work at both locations.

skinfo ® Specialty Skincare Boutique is a unique retail concept featuring professional skincare products not available in traditional retail outlets. The boutique features a wide variety of the newest cosmeceutical products personally selected by Dr. Amy Forman Taub, MD, FAAD treating acne, aging skin, rosacea, skin discolorations, dry skin, and more. Licensed professionals are on staff to educate and provide individualized skincare and makeup consultations to each patient.

This is a full time position and will work in our Lincolnshire and Glencoe locations.  Must be willing to work 2 Saturdays per month.

 

 


Responsibilities

skinfo Specialty Skincare Boutique

  • Greet and consult with patients with any questions or concerns they have about their skin
  • Provide understanding and education to the patient about their new skincare regimen
  • Add on coinciding products to a patient's regimen, to help achieve better and longer results
  • Provide face waxing and makeup services
  • Meet monthly sales targets
  • Maintain relationships with patients and follow- up with patients with new products or samples given
  • Document and update patient records based on interactions
  • Check patients out after they have decided on their purchase
  • Maintain cleanliness of store and retail shelves
  • Complete opening/closing procedure

Advanced Dermatology

  • Provide aesthetic services at Advanced Dermatology (full training provided)
  • Consult with patients prior to aesthetic service and answer any questions or concerns they may have regarding their skin or treatment
  • Recommend appropriate skincare products offered at skinfo specialty skincare boutique to all patients
  • OSHA sanitation, supply restocking, patient charting, etc

Qualifications

  • Licensed Esthetician and/or Licensed Cosmetologist required
  • At least 1 year experience in a retail/sales setting
  • Previous experience in a medical office a plus but not required
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast past environment
  • Positive, upbeat and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Highly motivated with a desire to meet sales targets
  • Flexible schedule needed
  • Must be able to work at both Lincolnshire and Glencoe locations based on the needs of the practice
  • Must be able to work on Saturdays
  • Must be able to work some evenings
