Account Executive (German Speaking)
About this role
fonio is hiring an Account Executive to run high-volume inbound demos for our phone AI assistant, own the end-to-end sales process, and drive revenue as we scale. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Customer Success to convert qualified leads and improve our sales motion in a fast-growing startup.
What you'll do
- Conduct multiple daily discovery and demo calls with prequalified inbound leads to showcase our phone-AI assistant and its business value.
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact through closing, working toward monthly and quarterly quota targets.
- Manage warm leads, prepare follow-ups, and keep your CRM pipeline clean and up to date.
- Ensure smooth handovers to Customer Success after deal closure.
- Provide customer feedback to Marketing and contribute to reliable sales forecasting.
- Run 8–16 qualified inbound demos per day without any cold outreach.
- Collaborate closely with your team to optimize our sales motion in a rapidly scaling environment.
What fonio is looking for
- At least 1 year of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with startup or scaleup experience a plus.
- Proven track record of closing deals along a clear sales funnel.
- Strong product and technical understanding relevant to a tech-enabled sales process.
- Native-level German and confident phone and demo presence.
- Comfortable owning quota with clear monthly and quarterly targets.
- Experienced in structured lead management, follow-ups, and maintaining CRM hygiene.
- Ability to work closely with Marketing and Customer Success and contribute to forecasting.
- On-site in Vienna (hybrid possible).
- Competitive OTE: €70,000–€120,000 (base plus uncapped commission) and top-equipment choice.
