Job DetailsJob Location: Capital Hauling - Jefferson City, MO 65101Position Type: Full TimeCapital Hauling is seeking experienced dump truck drivers in the Jefferson City area. Successful candidates should have a clean driving record. Some prior experience driving in a construction setting is desirable. This position will work some Saturdays as needed and occasional overnight stays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate regularly with dispatcher
Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Driver will be assigned loads, report as directed to job site, and complete a work order daily for that job
Driver is expected to perform daily truck maintenance and inspections
Maintain truck logs or time recordings
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid CDL Class A
Clean driving records
Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
Previous experience driving a dump truck
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels
Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
Willing to travel/work out of town
Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
