About this role
What You'll Do
As a member of our laboratory support team, your responsibilities will include:
Sample Processing & Laboratory Support
- Receive, sort, and log incoming samples
- Prepare samples for laboratory testing and analysis
- Perform routine subsampling of lubricants, coolants, and fuels
- Assist with reagent preparation and basic laboratory processes
- Support routine laboratory activities including filtration and sample preparation
Administrative & Data Management
- Enter and verify sample information accurately in laboratory systems
- Confirm billing and sample documentation requirements
- Maintain sample archives and records
- Coordinate sample storage and disposal procedures
- Complete administrative tasks to support laboratory operations
Quality & Safety
- Adhere to strict quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures
- Follow ISO-accredited laboratory standards and protocols
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Attributes
- Interest in laboratory, scientific, or technical work
- Previous experience in data entry, sample handling, manufacturing, or laboratory environments is an asset, but not required

Pay rate starts at $19.75 per hour.
