Job DetailsJob Location: Houston, TX 77041This position is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and uploading of products, ensuring accuracy in product handling, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The operator will follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely delivery of goods.
This position reports to the Inbound Logistics Supervisor.
DESCRIPTION

Conduct a safety checklist on all work equipment at the beginning and throughout the shift to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
Safely load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and the warehouse, ensuring proper product placement.
Ensure all products are accurately labeled and accounted for according to the Bill of Lading (BOL) and other documentation.
Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse environment to facilitate smooth operations and safety.
Report any equipment malfunctions or product damage immediately to the supervisor to prevent safety hazards and production delays.

Clear and effective communication with fellow operators and team members to ensure smooth coordination and operations.
Strong focus on accuracy when handling product shipments and ensuring that all items are correctly labeled, organized, and accounted for.
Ability to handle a high-paced work environment while maintaining focus on quality and safety.
EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
Experience working with delicate or fragile products that require careful handling and attention.
Familiarity with computer systems, barcode scanners, or other warehouse management tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for long periods while operating forklifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks daily as part of warehouse operations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor, with exposure to loud noises, machinery (including moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts), and varying temperatures. There may also be potential exposure to certain chemicals.
The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory when on the production floor. Additionally, special PPE shall be worn during certain operations such as face shield during propane tank change-out.
Reliable personal transportation is required to travel between multiple facilities throughout the day.
