About the Role:
The Fitness Factory Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in New York, NY! This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment for our members and staff. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of gym floors, equipment, locker rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub all facility surfaces to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products throughout the facility
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly and regularly
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management
- Follow proper sanitation protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Ensure restrooms and locker rooms are cleaned and inspected frequently throughout shifts
Requirements:
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility maintenance strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety guidelines
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends
