Sales Engineer
About this role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with 3+ years of experience to own the technical side of every major deal at Firecrawl — one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure companies in the world. You'll be the trusted technical partner who bridges engineering and revenue, earning developer trust while moving deals forward at a company that's already at 8 figures ARR and accelerating.
What will you be doing?
Own the full technical sales cycle: discovery, solution architecture, live demos, and proof of concepts
Get hands-on with the product in front of customers — show them exactly how Firecrawl solves their specific problem
Build compelling POCs and technical proposals that convert "interesting" into "signed"
Answer deep technical questions that make or break deals, knowing when to pull in engineering
Act as the voice of the customer — bring prospect feedback back to product and engineering teams
Key Requirements
3+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical customer-facing role at a developer or API product
Technical enough to earn a developer's respect: can read code, use an API, and build a real POC independently
Able to translate between deep technical detail and business value without losing either audience
Comfortable owning your part of a deal's outcome — not waiting for a fully-built playbook
Already authorized to work in the US or eligible remote-hire regions (no visa sponsorship available)
Company at a glance
Firecrawl provides web data extraction infrastructure for developers, enabling AI applications to access web data at scale. Founded by Mendable's creators and backed by enterprise customers like MongoDB and Coinbase, the company has achieved millions in ARR within its first year.
