About the Role

The Fire Sprinkler Estimator role is responsible for estimating, quoting, and end-to-end delivery of sprinkler projects, including remedial works arising from inspections, compliance requirements, and customer requests.

You will be working with a small team and passing on your experience and knowledge as you prepare and deliver quotes. You will plan you week to ensure you keep the work pipeline full.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates and quotations for fire sprinkler projects.
• Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers, designers, compliance/service teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Follow all company ISO, H&S, and operational procedures, contributing to a strong safety-first culture.
• Seek ways to enhance estimating efficiency and market competitiveness.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• 3-5 years minimum of fire protection experience, including estimating
• Strong knowledge of NZ Fire Sprinkler Standards and Compliance requirements
• Project planning and organisation
• Accountability and ownership
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Proficient Excel and general computer skills including industry software.
• Hold the right to work in Aotearoa/New Zealand

You are self-motivated, solutions oriented, and take full accountability for your work, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
