In order to support these activities, we are currently seeking a Manager Production Planning.
The Manager of Production Planning acts as the global responsible for all production planning within NIOX. The Manager of Production Planning is responsible for that the stock levels in the company Warehouses are in line with Management strategies.
Specific / Other responsibilities will include:
- Point of contact for contract manufacturers.
- Collect sales forecasts for NIOX products and component items from each market.
- Review the forecasts against actual sales and inventory to ensure optimal stock levels in all NIOX warehouses.
- Monitor sales and shipped out products from our warehouses to identify trends and new opportunities.
- Monitor inventory value in all NIOX Warehouses.
- Share and review production plan with each contract manufacturer, highlighting significant changes to the plan from previous month.
- Establish and communicate any significant impact of changes to production plan internally.
- Globally responsible for all items registered in the ERP system.
- Generate purchase orders through global ERP system to reflect agreed production schedule with each contract manufacturer.
- Notify internal stake holders of any delays and back-orders.
- Reconcile the invoices from suppliers against raised purchase orders prior to financial payments.
- Assist in production risk assessment and propose mitigation strategies.
- Confirm that supplier and contract manufacturer agreements are up to date and that they reflect the process used in company quality management system.
- Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations, through evaluation of existing processes
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Escalate unresolved issues to management in a timely manner.
- Compliance with all relevant NIOX policies, procedures, and processes.
Qualifications and/or experience required to perform the role:
- At least 4 years of working experience within Supply Chain.
- 2-3 years working experience in Supply and demand planning
- A degree or appropriate qualification in a supply and logistics related field is desirable
- Documented experience of production planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
- Excellent skills in Excel and MS Office.
- Documented experience from SAP B1 or other ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to set example and maintain a positive culture and environment for company.
- Experience in working in an international environment.

This position will be based out of our Uppsala office.
