Overview of position:
FEDITC is seeking an Electrical/Electronic Engineer to work at Red River Army Depot in the Texarkana, TX area.
A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide design, development, and assessment of electrical and electronic systems supporting ground vehicle platform requirements.
- Support systems involving electricity, electronics, electromagnetics, radio waves, cellular communications, and data communications.
- Support both wireless and wired communication and transmission technologies.
- Evaluate electrical and electronic systems to ensure they meet ground vehicle platform requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electrical and electronic systems used in ground vehicle or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of wired and wireless communication technologies, radio frequency (RF), cellular, and data transmission systems.
Experience/Skills:
- Experience in electrical/electronic engineering, system design, development, or assessment.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, electromagnetic, RF, cellular, and data communication systems.
Education:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Clearance:
- Active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required.
- Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’s Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
