Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for the daily reconciliation (check- in) of the Faust Distributing Customer Service Routes. This is a part-time position working flexible afternoon and evening hours.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately reconcile delivery routes.
- Accuracy is a top priority.
- Run Register on all routes.
- Handling large amounts of checks & money orders.
- Prepare bank deposits.
- Run and distribute end-of-day reports.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to use a ten-key numeric keypad by touch.
- Ability to use fundamental math skills.
- Ability to use common software applications, operate a computer effectively, and manage digital files and information.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of previous cashier experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Strength to lift to twenty-five pounds.
- Typically spends 80% of the time in a sitting position.
