Relies on instructions and pre established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities

Process incoming equipment in a timely manner.
Stack equipment properly to allow for both pallet content verification and prevent damage to the load.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Lift, move, sort and/or place materials or items on racks, shelves, in bins or on pallets.
Ensure complete accuracy of inventory at all times.
Inspect equipment to maintain good working order.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment including wearing safety equipment (steel toed shoes, etc.) as required.
Participate in cycle counting program as needed.
Will be required to help maintain facility sanitation standards.
Follows all safety rules.
May report stock damage.
May perform related clerical duties, such as maintaining records and properly complete paperwork.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Must also have the ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs regularly.
Work in other departments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferably a minimum of at least 6 months’ experience in Warehouse Operations.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a field
