Every specimen tells a story—and your expertise helps turn those results into answers. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will deliver the accurate, timely testing our providers rely on to diagnose conditions, guide treatment decisions, and provide exceptional patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, hands-on laboratory professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will gain broad experience across multiple laboratory disciplines while working alongside providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who share your commitment to quality and patient safety.
Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager or Director, you will perform routine and specialized testing while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Compensation
$28.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and certifications
Additional shift differentials available for qualifying shifts
What You’ll Do
Perform clinical laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Immunology, Microbiology, and Blood Bank
Prepare and process specimens while ensuring accurate identification, proper handling, appropriate storage, and specimen integrity
Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
Review and validate test results, quickly recognizing discrepancies or unexpected findings requiring additional investigation
Accurately document and report results through the Laboratory Information System
Communicate critical and urgent results promptly to providers, nurses, and other members of the clinical team
Perform quality-control testing and participate in proficiency testing and continuous quality-improvement initiatives
Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, infection-control, and laboratory safety requirements
Monitor inventory and help ensure laboratory supplies are organized, stocked, and ready when needed
Participate in continuing education and training to expand your expertise and remain current with laboratory practices

QualificationsQualifications
Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from an accredited program
Completion of a NAACLS-accredited MLT program
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
Current state licensure, if applicable
Preferred
One year of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or outpatient lab
Familiarity with CLIA regulations and CAP accreditation standards
