Your role at Expliseat

As a " Electrical Systems Integration Engineer," you will responsible for the integration of any electrical component in our seat. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Electrical Architecture

  • Integrate the overall electrical architecture of the seat in coordination with our partners, including In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems, USB charging ports, PC power outlets, and other passenger connectivity equipment.

  • Coordinate internally the development of wiring diagrams and seat electrical routing, including harness design and integration while complying with our customer and OEMs requirements

  • Produce interface drawings and electrical integration documentation for aircraft seat connectivity, including floor interface connections.

2. Technical Lead for Partners & Suppliers

  • Define and maintain detailed technical specifications aligned with the company product roadmap and customer requirements.

  • Support the supplier selection process together with the Purchasing Department, ensuring the best technical and commercial fit.

  • Challenge suppliers on design optimization, maintenance, weight and industrial feasibility.

  • Lead and coordinate partners throughout the design, certification, qualification, and operational support phases of seat development programs.

3. Certification, Safety & OEM Coordination

  • Ensure compliance of the electrical system with applicable aerospace regulations, certification requirements, and safety standards.

  • Supervise qualification and validation testing activities.

  • Coordinate electrical deliverables and technical interfaces with customers, aircraft OEMs, and cabin integrators.

Your profile :


Education: Engineering degree with a specialization in "Embedded Systems" or "Mechatronics."

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally with an aircraft interior equipment manufacturer (e.g., Safran Seats, Recaro, Collins) or a specialized design office. Experience in seat certification is a significant advantage.

- Pragmatism and rigor at the heart of your working approach.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an international and multidisciplinary environment.

- Solidworks and PLM management
