Experienced Dementia Caregivers

Exhava Home Care is looking for compassionate and experienced caregivers with dementia care experience to support older adults in the comfort of their own homes.

Working with clients with dementia requires patience, compassion, consistency, and understanding. If you have experience supporting individuals with memory loss and are passionate about providing respectful, person-centered care, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide safe mobility assistance
• Support clients experiencing dementia and memory-related challenges with patience and respect
• Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable home environment
• Observe and communicate changes or concerns to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and promote client dignity and independence

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• 5+ years of caregiving experience
• Experience providing care to clients with dementia or memory loss
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
