Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Solution Architect to lead solution architecture, consulting, and large-scale transformation initiatives for insurance clients. The ideal candidate will combine deep insurance domain expertise with strong Solution/Enterprise Architecture, cloud, digital transformation, and client advisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex insurance transformation programs.
  • Define target-state architecture, integration strategies, technology roadmaps, and solution blueprints.
  • Advise clients on insurance modernization, platform selection, digital transformation, and technology strategy.
  • Lead discovery workshops and engage with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Support RFPs, proposals, pre-sales, solutioning, effort estimates, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, architecture, and insurance domain teams.
  • Drive modern architecture practices including AWS, Azure, GCP, APIs, microservices, data, digital platforms, and AI/GenAI.
  • Provide architecture governance and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.


Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Insurance, or related field.
  • 15+ years of insurance technology/business transformation experience.
  • 8+ years of Solution Architecture / Enterprise Architecture experience.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance processes including Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Distribution, Customer Engagement, and Reinsurance.
  • Experience leading large-scale insurance modernization programs.
  • Strong client-facing consulting and executive stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience with cloud-native and digital transformation solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Sapiens, Fadata, or Insurity.
  • Experience across P&C, Life, Health, Commercial, or Specialty Insurance.
  • Experience with global Tier-1 insurance carriers and InsurTech ecosystems.
  • Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled insurance solutions.
  • Experience supporting strategic RFPs, proposals, and complex pre-sales engagements.

Preferred Certifications

  • TOGAF
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Guidewire Certification
  • CPCU, AINS, LOMA, or other Insurance certifications
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
