About the Role

Rydges Wellington Airport is conveniently located just moments from Wellington International Airport, offering comfortable, modern rooms and warm, local hospitality to business and leisure travellers alike. As a Room Attendant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel facilities to meet our standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising all surfaces.
• Replace linens and towels as needed and restock guest room amenities such as toiletries to hotel standards.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways and common spaces.
• Report any maintenance issues, damaged items or necessary repairs to the Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance Team.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow correct procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including correct use of PPE and cleaning chemicals.

What You'll Bring

• Previous commercial housekeeping experience in a busy hotel setting is preferred.
• Physical stamina and fitness, with the ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects.
• Strong availability, including weekends and evenings, to support a busy hotel roster.
• A collaborative, dependable approach, with pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
• The resilience to work productively under pressure and adapt to a changing daily workload.
