Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Server to join our team at Everlasting Services, an traumatic brain injury (TBI) assisted living facility committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents in a warm, friendly, and respectful manner. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve meals to residents in a courteous, professional, and timely manner, ensuring food is presented attractively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' needs and preferences during meal times.
  • Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas before, during, and after meals.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of food and cleaning of equipment.
  • Work with the kitchen team to ensure the accurate preparation and delivery of meals.
  • Monitor resident's special dietary needs and ensure they receive the correct meals.
  • Maintain positive and respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Assist in managing inventory and restocking dining room supplies as needed.
  • Dishwashing. 
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and health regulations of the facility.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role, preferably in a healthcare or assisted living setting, is a plus.
  • Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor with the ability to interact with elderly residents.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain a level one fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must have a current Food Handler Certification.
  • Must have a current tuberculosis (2 TB tests) screening.
  • Must have a current CPR.AED/First Aid Certification.
  • Must obtain Memory Care Certification 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
