Basic Salary

Grade: 07

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Monitors and controls the activities being performed within assigned area as directed. 

• Performs conservation and maintenance functions. 

• Assists members of the community and general public. 

• Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge in the field of nature conservation. 

• Conducts safety inspections on work sites, on equipment and facilities.

 • Ensures the health and safety of staff and the general public.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements: 

 

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent. 

• Peace Officer Certificate or be able to obtain one within six months from commencement of duty. 

• Field Ranger Training Certificate 

• Firearm competence certificate issued by South African Police Service (SAPS). 

• Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code C1 or EC or EC1). 

• Valid professional driving permit (PrDP).

• 2 Years relevant experience. 

 

Preferred Requirements: 

 

• 3 years relevant experience
