Description
Duties & expectations:
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repairs.
- Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs
- Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Communicate any concerns or issues related to safety of personal and facility.
- Look for continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Willing to work in a team environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
- Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
Requirements
- 5 years of prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, equipment and repairs,
- General maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling (HVAC), and other building systems.
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work on their feet and lift up to 50lbs.
