Qualifications:
- Ability to follow work instructions and directions provided by Manager.
- Can use furnace equipment and test meters.
- Understands the concept of FOD and its effect on production.
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs. when required.
- Employee does not have all the above but is willing and able to be trained in these aspects.
Duties & Expectations:
- Clean, Assemble, Braze, and Solution Treat components and brazements in a safe, productive and quality manner.
- Test brazements per customer and industry specifications.
- Maintain traceability to each brazement including brazing, heat treat and testing.
- Document work per instructions from Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate any concerns or issues related to production of parts, safety, shelf life items and quality to the immediate supervisor.
- Provide perspective for the continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Willing to work in a team environment.
- Only use calibrated measuring equipment whether personally owned or company supplied. When not in proper calibration, notify quality department to have corrected immediately.
- Handle inspection equipment, machines and product in a manner that will not cause damage.
- Trained on FOD awareness and prevention, and its effect during production activities.
- In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, employee may be asked to do any of the following but not limited to: Machine Operator, Quality Control support, Cleaning, Shipping and Receiving, Deburring
- Maintain a positive attitude and a good attendance record.
- Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
- 8% shift differential for working 2nd shift
