The Sr Manager, Tax is responsible for leading a tax team through the successful completion of income, franchise, and other tax compliance obligations. This includes managing and overseeing the accurate and timely preparation and review of federal, state and local tax workpapers, tax returns, partner allocations and Schedule K-1 reporting for Vivmark Residential and its related entities. This role may also include strategic or consultative activities, such as research memos, budgets, schedules, etc. to support various transactions, initiatives, and information requirements of the Tax Department, other departments, and/or external customers. The Sr Manager, Tax is expected to leverage experience and judgement in risk assessment, decision making, department policy, and team development. As necessary, the Sr Manager, Tax also assists the supervisor in tax planning, process development, and internal documentation.
Please note: Our current onsite work schedule requires attendance from Monday through Thursday each week, with remote work permitted on Fridays.
The Strategy & Analytics Manager is responsible for partnering with business leaders to identify strategic opportunities, define business challenges, and develop data-driven solutions that support organizational objectives. Primary responsibilities include leading analytics initiatives, translating complex data into actionable business insights, developing analytical tools and frameworks, and driving strategic decision-making through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. This role helps shape the Company's analytics capabilities by delivering innovative solutions that improve operational performance, support business growth, and foster a data-driven culture.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Partners with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify business challenges, define strategic objectives, and develop data-driven solutions that support organizational priorities.
- Leads the development of analytical frameworks, strategies, and recommendations that improve business performance, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
- Designs, develops, and implements analytical tools, models, and prototype solutions that translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Evaluates business processes, operational performance, and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with technical and business teams to define analytics requirements and deliver scalable reporting, dashboards, and data solutions that meet business needs.
- Establishes success measures and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and business impact of analytics initiatives and strategic recommendations.
- Researches emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in analytics, data science, and business strategy to drive innovation and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Communicates analytical findings, strategic recommendations, and business insights to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, through clear and effective presentations and reporting.
- Leads and mentors team members by providing guidance on analytical methodologies, problem-solving approaches, and best practices to support professional development and high-quality deliverables.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.

Education: Master’s degree in Software Development, Data Science, Operations Research, Business, Analytics, or a related technical field required.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, with a focus on driving strategic solutions and delivering actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, R, Python, etc., with a strong ability to perform data analysis and statistical modeling tasks.
- Ability to develop prototype solutions and design experiments to test hypotheses and validate data-driven strategies, leveraging a combination of analytical tools and methodologies.
- Experience in data visualization using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, with a demonstrated ability to create visually impactful and insightful representations of complex data.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business stakeholders, to identify and define problem statements, and develop data-driven strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex analytical concepts and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding team members in analytics methodologies and best practices.
- Confidence in working in ambiguous, dynamic, and fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience of collaborating with leadership, including executive-level stakeholders, to drive strategic objectives and deliver measurable business impact.

Salary: $142,210 - $160,667 per year; in addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus is provided.
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
