About this role

EPIC Health Partners is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Clinician to join our growing Addiction & Recovery Treatment Services team. This position may be hybrid or remote and is focused on clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, and providing individual counseling sessions and/or facilitate group services as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including assessments, ISP updates, SARs, progress notes, treatment plans, and other required records in accordance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EPIC Health Partners standards.
  • Review documentation for quality, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct and review clinical assessments as assigned.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care and documentation accuracy.
  • Support individuals in identifying treatment goals and participating in treatment planning processes.
  • Provide individual counseling sessions and/or facilitate psychoeducational, skills-building, and therapeutic group sessions.
  • Monitor client engagement and communicate clinical or safety concerns requiring supervisory review.
  • Provide crisis support and service coordination within the scope of practice when necessary.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP, LPC, LCSW, LSATP)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing substance use and/or mental health services in individual, family, or group settings.
  • Knowledge of ASAM criteria, relapse‑prevention strategies, and evidence‑based addiction treatment approaches.
  • Ability to facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
