EMPLOYMENT AND STAFFING STRUCTURE
This position is employed and staffed by Enterprise Management Solutions, LLC (“Enterprise”), which serves as the staffing agency and employer of record for this position. The employee is assigned by Enterprise to provide services to American Homestays, LLC in accordance with the duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description.
Enterprise is responsible for employment administration, including recruitment and hiring, onboarding, payroll processing, maintenance of employment records, human resources administration, and applicable employment-related compliance.
American Homestays, LLC is the organization receiving the staffing services and is responsible for directing the employee’s day-to-day work activities, operational priorities, worksite procedures, and performance expectations related to the services performed for that organization.
Enterprise and American Homestays, LLC may coordinate regarding scheduling, performance, workplace matters, regulatory requirements, and other issues necessary to support the employee’s assignment.
The employee remains an employee of Enterprise Management Solutions, LLC while assigned to American Homestays, LLC. The assignment itself does not create a separate W-2 employment relationship between the employee and the assigned organization.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Delivering high-quality, safe, and timely handyman services that meet project specifications, resolve maintenance needs, and ensure resident satisfaction through reliable workmanship, proper documentation, and adherence to company standards and safety protocols.
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt W-2, Hourly – Full-Time
WORK SCHEDULE: This schedule reflects 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM. Scheduling needs may vary based on business demands, and adjustments may be required as reasonably assigned.
COMPENSATION RANGE: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour commensurate on experience, education and credentials.

ANTICIPATED TRAVEL: 50% of the time. You will use a company vehicle. There is no additional compensation for travel.
SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to perform a wide variety of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties in the Baltimore area. This part-time role offers flexible hours and is ideal for a licensed plumber looking to supplement their existing workload or take on project-based work.
The plumber will respond to routine service requests, emergency repairs, and planned upgrades—working independently or in collaboration with property maintenance and renovation teams.
SCHEDULED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters)
- Diagnose and resolve leaks, clogs, low pressure, and other plumbing issues
- Replace or repair damaged piping, valves, or connections
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, parts used, and hours worked
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in residential and commercial environments
UNSCHEDULED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist supervisor with work related requests.
- Responsible for following regulations of COMAR, CARF, any other regulatory body, and company policies/ procedures related to service delivery and documentation and co-facilitating orientation of all new hires to these as well.
- Support the maintenance of a safe environment by participating in training and drills as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment.
- Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor.
- Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement plans by completing periodic audits or other activities to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve service delivery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly walk, stand or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 100 pounds; and regularly drive a motor vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Exposure to potentially hazardous materials, heights, and tight spaces.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain situations.
COMPETENCY AND SKILLS
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
- Proficiency in a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials
- Reliable transportation and own tools
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot efficiently
- Must carry or be willing to obtain general liability insurance (if 1099)
- Experience in multi-unit housing, affordable housing, or supportive housing settings
- Ability to assess and quote materials/labor for small projects
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
- Gas line or backflow certification a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Valid Maryland journeyman or master plumber license
