About this role
Trusted to lead. Empowered to practice at the top of your license.
At North Elm Animal Hospital, we do things differently. We're a technician-forward, medically autonomous hospital that truly believes in the power of a strong tech team. Our doctors trust our technicians, and empower them to work at the top of their license, and then some. We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who's ready to lead the charge, think critically, and take initiative.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you won't be stuck in the back doing basic restraint. You'll be in the heart of the action:
- Assisting in surgical procedures, controlled drugs, dentistry, x-rays, and monitoring anesthesia
- Leading by example to mentor and train junior staff
- Participating in patient care planning, and supporting diagnostics and treatments
- Maintaining accurate veterinary medical records and client communication
What We're Looking For
- A Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with strong surgical and leadership experience
- Skilled in patient care, communication, and teamwork
- Highly organized, dependable, and compassionate
- Ready to be part of a community-focused veterinary hospital where every shift looks a little different
Schedule
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- Rotating weekends
- No holiday shifts required
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
Compensation
$20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Final compensation will be determined commensurate with experience.
