At Waggin' Tails Doggie Dude Ranch, we're not just a boarding and daycare facility, we're a second home for pets, and a place where dogs can play, socialize, and be cared for with real attention and heart. Every team member plays a vital role in creating a safe, clean, and fun environment for the dogs in our care. We're connected to Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital, so on-site veterinary support is close by if a guest ever needs it, and we offer enriching daycare playgroups, comfortable boarding, and lots of personalized attention. We're looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Dog Daycare Attendant to join our growing team.
What You'll Help Make Possible
- Safe, well-supervised group play where every dog can socialize and burn off energy
- A clean, organized, sanitized space that keeps dogs healthy and comfortable
- Dogs who feel genuinely cared for, from feeding and walks to baths and grooming
- Early awareness of behavior or health concerns, caught and reported before they become bigger issues
- A daycare environment that runs smoothly because the whole team supports each other
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- 1-2 years of experience working with dogs in a group setting (daycare or boarding)
- Confident reading dog body language and managing group dynamics
- Comfortable with hands-on, physically active work
Preferred:
- A calm, patient approach, even in high-energy situations
- Reliable, positive, and genuinely enjoys working as part of a team
- Comfortable in an active, high-energy environment
- Ready to keep learning and growing throughout each shift
Schedule
- Full-time or part-time
- Flexible shift, 4 to 8 hour shifts
- Rotating weekends
- Holiday shifts required
Compensation
Compensation for this role ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience and skills.
